Explanation:

3x - 2 = 3 - 4x

Add
and
on both sides of the equation.

3x - 2 +2+4x= 3 - 4x+2+4x

3x+4x=-4x+5+4x

7x=5

Divide
on both sides of the equation.

(7x)/(7)=(5)/(7)

x=(5)/(7)
