How do vaccinations work to keep patients healthy? They remove any trace of disease or pathogens from the human body. They provide additional white blood cells, which work to fight off diseases. They help build up the skin to better block out disease and pathogens. They introduce a weakened form of a disease so the body can learn how to fight it off.
