3y = 30-2x

y=30/3 - 2/3x

y=10-2/3x

now plug in the options

1) 0,10 and 15,0

y=10-2/3*0 where x is 0 and thus y equals y=10-0 --> y =10

For (15,0), y=10-2/3*15 which becomes y=0 so the (15,0) pair works

Which mean line joining 0,10 and 15,0 fits the equation. Now since we want to stay below the $30, area below it is what will get them to stay within budget
