Answer:

756 m^2

Explanation:

Area of 2 Triangles

A = (b×h) ÷ 2

Substitute:

(12 × 9) ÷ 2

108 ÷ 2 = 54

There are 2 triangles so:

54 × 2 = 108 m^2

Area of 3 Rectangles

A = L × W

Rectangle on the left:

Substitute:

12 × 18 = 216 m^2

Rectangle in front:

9 × 18 = 162 m^2

Rectangle behind:

15 × 18 = 270 m^2

Add Them All Together

- We have worked out all the areas of the shapes, now we need to add them all together to get the total surface area.

108 + 216 + 162 + 270 = 756

Total surface area = 756 m^2
