Answer:

x = 1⅔ or -1

Explanation:

6x² -4x - 10

a=6, b=-4, c=-10, ac= -60

factors -10 & 6

6x² + 6x - 10x -10 =0

(6x² + 6x) - (10x - 10) =0

6x(x +1) - 10(x+1) =0

(6x-10)(x+1)=0

6x-10=0 or. x+1=0

6x= 10 or x= -1

x= 10/6 or. x= -1

x=1⅔ or x= -1

answer \\ (3x - 5)(2x + 2) \\ solution \\ {6x}^(2) - 4x - 10 \\ = {6x}^(2) - (10 - 6)x - 10 \\ = {6x}^(2) - 10x + 6x - 10 \\ = 2x(3x - 5) + 2(3x - 5) \\ = (3x - 5)(2x + 2) \\ hope \: it \: helps
