Martin is buying inkjet cartridges that cost $22 each. He has $100 to pay for the cartridges.

Answer:

100 / 22 = 4 r 12

The whole number is 4 so he can buy 4 cartridges.

You do not include the twelve because he doesn't have enough money to buy another full cartridge
