6x^2 - 7x +8x -8x -20 now you take 6x^2 and the +8x and factorize

6x^2 +8x = 2x( 3x +4 )

and you have -7x -8x-20 = -15x -20 factorize

-5(3x +4 ) add all up.

2x(3x +4) -5(3x +4) and you have

(3x+4)(2x-5)
