Obaid wants to paint the ceiling of his restaurant. The ceiling is in the shape of a square. Its side lengths are 15 meters. Suppose each can of paint will cover 25 square meters. How many cans will he need to paint the ceiling?

Explanation

Side length of the squared ceiling = 15m

Area of a square = side x side = 15 x 15 =
225m^(2)

Area of paint each can covers = 25m

∴Number of paint cans needed to paint the entire ceiling =
(225)/(25) = 9 cans
