What is the domain of the function f(x)=

x+1/x^2- 6x+8

Answer: All real numbers besides 2 and 4

Explanation:

You want to find out where the denominator will equal 0. This will tell you what values that cannot be inputted into the function. You cant divide by 0, it is impossible.

What two numbers mulitply to equal 8 but add to equal -6? Thats -4 and -2

(x - 4)(x - 2) = 0
