For each year , the population of a forest of trees is represented by A(t)=115(1.025)^t A ( t ) = 115 ( 1.025 ) t .In a neighboring forest, the population of the same type of tree is represented by the function LaTeX: B(t)=82(1.029)^t B ( t ) = 82 ( 1.029 ) t . Which forest had a greater number of trees initially? By how many?

Answer:

Forest represented by equation A(t)

by 33

Explanation:

at t=0

A(t)= 115(1.025)^0

A(0)= 115

at t=0

B(t) = 82(1.029)^0

B(0)= 82

So, Forest represented by A(t) had greater number of trees initially.

Difference= 115-82

= 33
