Answer:

Area = 2.33 mm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of quarter circle = 14.28

But

Perimeter of quarter circle = 2πr+2r

So

2πr+2r = 14.28

6.3r+2r = 14.28

8.3r = 14.28

r = 14.28/8.3

r = 1.7 mm

Now the Area

Area of quarter circle = 1/4(πr²)

= 1/4(3.14)(1.7)²

= 1/4(3.14)(2.97)

= 1/4(9.34)

= 2.33 mm²
