27 feet

Explanation:

Let x represent the width

Let 3(x) represent the length

Perimeter = L + L + W + W

72 = 3x +3x + x + x

72 = 8x


(72)/(8) = (8x)/(8)

9 = x

∴ Length = 3(9) = 27 feet
