Quote by Albert Camus:

Therefore the first progressive step for a mind overwhelmed by the strangeness of things is to realize that this feeling of strangeness is shared with all men and that human reality, in its entirety, suffers from the distance which separates it from the rest of the universe.

Answer:

The quote represents Camus view of life: he was an existentialist, but also an absurdist: he believed that life really does not have any meaning at all, and that all humans can do is try to deal with life as they live.

Camus had similar views to fellow existentialist philosophers and writers like Jean-Paul Sartre and Gabriel Marcel.
