HELP ME PLEASSEE!!! ASAP!!!!!!!

Mindy, a local artist, sells a piece of art at the pizza shop for $15, and the shop takes 15 percent commission. Instead of receiving money, Mindy would like a $12 pizza, including 5 percent sales tax. Is this a fair trade? Explain how to find the solution. Please answer quickly!! I have seen many other answers to this question, however, I don't see anybody who answered the sales tax. What does the sales tax mean??? Do you add it to the $12 pizza???
ASAP PLEASE!!!

Yes the Sales Tax should be added onto the total cost considering you always pay tax with whatever you buy! If the pizza is 12$ the sales tax would be 0.60$ which makes the total for a pizza 12.60$.
Now if the 15% commission was it, it would be 2.25$, leaving 12.75$ after.

So it wasn’t multiple choice, but if mindy gets a pizza, that’d be losing 0.15$ each time instead of paying commission

I suck at math tho

OK so basically, she’s at the pizza shop selling paintings, since she’s selling it at their venue, the owners may demand a small commission of a price. In this case that is 15% of $15. 15% of 15 is 2.25, meaning she only gets $12.75. Mindy would like to buy a pizza for $12, she has 12, but does she have enough to make the sales tax. 12×.05 is $0.6 dollars which means she has enough money to buy it.
