No. of Teenagers in sample = 10

Explanation:

Total Number of People visited the zoo = 350

Lets find the Number of Teenagers who visited the zoo.

From the table of cumulative frequency:

Total individuals < 12 years = 90

Total individuals < 19 years = 210

As Teenagers means individuals ranging form 13 to 19 years of old.

Total Teenagers = 210 - 90

Total Teenagers = 120

To find No. of Teenagers in a sample size of 30, we use stratified sampling.

No. of Teenagers in sample = (Total Teenagers / Total People) · Sample size

No. of Teenagers in sample = (120/350) · 30

No. of Teenagers in sample = 10.29

No. of Teenagers in sample = 10 (Round off)
