Answer: x = 8

BC = 13

AB = 13

AD = 10

Explanation:

The figure shows that AB = BC so:

x+5 = 2x-3

2x-x = 5+3

x = 8

Hence we have:

BC = 2(8)-3 = 13

AB = 8+5 = 13

AD = 8+2 = 10
