ANSWER:
I wish to argue against this motion. Because at this time of pandemic, social distancing is a key of staying safe and reducing the spread of the Corona virus. If government should ban all social gathering activities in Ghana, it has been done inline with the WHO directives, that should be followed if we all will win this invisible enemy (Corona virus). If social gathering is still allowed, people will likely not maintain a social distancing, and this will cause a spike in the spread of the virus. This is why it is important that government bans social gathering, so as to help reduce the spread of the disease.
Religious activities should not divert our attention of staying safe, as we obey the directives of the government, because the key law in all true religion is obedience, and this is the time the government seeks everyone to abide by such obedience and maintain social distancing, by avoiding social gathering.
