3 women push a stalled car. Each woman pushes with a 425 N force. What is the mass of the

car if the car accelerates at 0.85 m/s??

Explanation:

Formual for froce is given by

force = mass * acceleration

Force exerted by 1 woman = 425 N

no. of women exerting force = 3

Force exerted by 3 woman = 425 * 3 N = 1275 N

Acceleration produced by 1275 N force = 0.85 m/s^2

Using formula force = mass * acceleration

1275 = mass * 0.85 m/s^2

=> mass = 1275/ 0.85 m/s^2 = 1,500 Kg

Thus, mass of car is 1,500 Kg.
