Answer: 92.0 mm squared

Explanation:

To help solve for the total area we can split the shape into two rectangles then find the area of those two rectangles and add them together.

The first rectangle at the top is a 4 by 3 mm.

4*3 = 12 mm squared

The second rectangle on the bottom is a 10 by 8 mm.

10*8 = 80 mm squared

The total will now come from those areas added together.

80 + 12 = 92 mm squared

Answer:

92

Explanation:

Separate the shape into 2 rectangles, one thats 4x3, and the others thats 8x10.

The areas are 12 and 80, so sum them to get 92
