Answer:

x = 1

D) Subtraction and Division

Explanation:

2x + 1 = 3

(2x + 1) - 1) = (3) - 1 ←

2x = 2

(2x)/2 = (2)/2 ←

x = 1

In the places where I put the arrows is where I applied the properties. I used subtraction and division to solve.

Answer:

D

Explanation:

2x+1=3

-1 on both sides: 2x=2, then divide by two. You get x=1

For this you would use D, subtraction and division
