Answer: C

Explanation:

You can write each term into a fraction.

\sqrt[5]{x^4} becomes
x^4^/^5

When you multiply 2 terms with the same base, you add the exponents.

x^4^/^5*x^4^/^5=x^4^/^5^+^4^/^5=x^8^/^5

x^8^/^5 is also the same as
x\sqrt[5]{x^3}

You get this because
\sqrt[5]{x^8} =\sqrt[5]{x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x}. When you pull out 5 os x, you are left with x³ on the inside.
