- EX: If it rains today, the ground will be wet -> If the ground is not wet, it did not rain today

Converse is the switching of the clauses

- EX: If I just ate mac and cheese, I am happy -> If I am happy, I just ate mac and cheese

Inverse is swapping the positive/negative (not)

- EX: If I am hungry, I want food -> If I am not hungry, I do not want food
