The perimetre of a square is 6 cm calculate the area of the square

Solution,

Perimeter of square(P)=6 cm

Length(l)=?

Now,

Perimeter of square=4l

or,6=4l

or, l=6/4

length= 3/2 cm

Again,

Area of square=l^2

=(3/2)^2

=9/4

=2.25 cm^2
