Explanation:

For angle K, JL is the opposite leg. JK is the hypotenuse. The trig ratio that relkates the opposite leg to the hypotenuse is the sine.


\sin A = (opp)/(hyp)


\sin K = (JL)/(JK)


\sin 77^\circ = (6.9)/(JK)


(JK)\sin 77^\circ = 6.9


JK = (6.9)/(\sin 77^\circ)


JK = 7.1
