Explanation:

It is assumed given numbers are sizes of hexagon (not triangle)

  • Rectangle has sides 12cm and 5cm
  • Triangles have base 12cm and height (13-5)/2 = 4 cm
  • Area of rectangle= 12*5= 60 cm²
  • Area of each triangle= 1/2*12*4= 24 cm²
  • Area of hexagon= 60 cm² + 2*24 cm²= 108 cm²
