Fro one to solve a decimal multiplier, we need to either add or subtract the number that we are given in percentage from 100% ane then convert the value we get to a decimal.

In this case, since we want to increase the value by 5%, we add the value to 100% and then change to decimal. This will be:

= 100% + 5%

= 105%

We then divide 105% by 100%

= 105%/100%

= 1.05

The answer is 1.05
