Can someone please explain to me how to find y=Mx+b? We’ve learned this a long time ago and I kinda forgot .. can’t find a solution anywhere else :/

Answer:

y = mx + b equals y = the slope of the line(x) + the y-intercept

First find the slope of the line using rise/run, which is 12/-2 so the slope is -6

To find the y-intercept, you need to look for the point where x = 0 (or the point that lies on the y-axis), which is when y = -4 so the equation is:

y = -6x - 4
