Answer:

The Cold War started because the U.S has missiles in Turkey, USSR decided they should place their own missiles in U.S territory, Cuba was teaming up with the Soviets, hence the crisis began. The cold war stopped because during 1989 and 1990, the Berlin wall came down, borders opened, and free election out stood Communist regimes everywhere in eastern Europe. In late 1991 the Soviet Union itself dissolved into its component republics. With stunning speed, the Iron Curtain was lifted and the Cold war came to an end. The reason that the leader of the Soviet Union doesn't trust the United States because the U.S supported the communist takeover in China which was the opposed by the Soviet Union.
