Find the distance of the following points from the x axis: P(3,0) , Q(0,-3) , R(12,-4) , S(-4,-3)

Answer:

Distance of point P(3,0) from x axis is zero as this point lies on x axis.

distance of point Q is 3.

Distance of point R is 4.

Distance of point S is 3.

Explanation:

Point P already lies on x axis as its y coordinate is zero so its distance from x axis is zero

distance of points Q , R and S is the absolute value of their y coordinates that is 3 , 4 and 3 respectively.
