A boy walks 1000 m at an average speed of 4 km / h and then runs 22 km in 10 minutes.

A) Calculate his time in minutes he takes to walk the I000 m
B) his running speed in kilometres per hour
C) his average speed for the whole distance

Answer:

Distance = speed / time

A) 1 = 4/t

t = 0.25 hours

B) 22 = s/10

Speed = 132 km/hr

C) (4+132)/2

136/2 = 68 km per hour
