from the equation a=6 b=-14 c=-9

from the quadratic formula


x = ( - b {+ or - } \sqrt{ {b}^(2) + 4ac} ) / 2a

therefore insert in the values of a, b and c


x = ( - ( - 14) + or - \sqrt{ {( - 14)}^(2) + 4 * 6 * ( - 9)} ) / 2 * 6

x=2.858148594

X=-0.52481526
