Answer: No it is not safe, it will burn the part you touch it with

Yes, as long as the conductor is large enough in cross sectional to carry that amount of current without heating to the point that you are burned. 6 volts isn’t enough to do so but indeed the size!

The smaller conductors will be dangerous
As the mouth the bigger ones won’t!
