x² + 20 = 2x

x² − 2x + 20 = 0

x = [ -b ± √(b² − 4ac) ] / 2a

x = [ -(-2) ± √((-2)² − 4(1)(20)) ] / 2(1)

x = [ 2 ± √(4 − 80) ] / 2

x = [ 2 ± √(-76) ] / 2

x = [ 2 ± 2i√19 ] / 2

x = 1 ± i√19
