Remember this can be interpreted as:


(x_1,y_1);(x_2,y_2)

Looking at our x values first we have:


(4+(-4))/(2)=(0)/(2)=0

Looking at our y values we have:


(-5+5)/(2)=(0)/(2)=0

So our midpoint would be the point
(0,0)
