\sqrt[5]{\sqrt[]{(x+3)^(20) } }=
√((x+3)^20 /5)=
√((x+3)^4)=(x+3)⁴/²=(x+3)²

Solution 2


\sqrt[5]{\sqrt[]{(x+3)^(20) } }=
\sqrt[5]{(x+3)^20/2}=
\sqrt[5]{(x+3)^10}= (x+3)¹⁰/⁵= (x+3)²

As you can see the mistake was at first step, where power should have been put as 20/2 instead of 2/20 (according to solution 2 above)

But it wasn't Edward's solution, he went by solution 1 above

There is no connection between Edward's solution and answer options

But best fit is Option A
