What does it mean if the probability is 20% that a spinner will stop in a red section?

There is one chance in 5 that the spinner will stop in a red section.

There is one chance in 20 that the spinner will stop in a red section.

It is 20 times more likely that the spinner will stop in a red section than any other section.

If the spinner is spun 100 times it is certain that it will stop in the red section exactly 20 times.

Answer:

A.

1 in 5 chance = 1 divided by 5 = 0.2

0.2 = 20%

There is a 1 in 5 chance that the spinner will stop on the red section.

The last answer is wrong because it will not exactly get 20 times, 20 times is the closest estimate.

Hope this helps
