Answer:

Corruption is taking advantage of your position to make an extra buck or help your friends and family so the playing field is not level and those who work hard do not get rewards. It is destroying your society

Who is harmed by corruption? Society as a whole. When a public official takes a bribe from the mob to award a building contract, tax money is being paid to criminals who may cut corners on safety. So the public is endangered, the criminals profit, and some legitimate business lost out on the contract. The public loses faith in their elected and appointed officials, and in the system itself.

Imagine a person who is making huge money through criminal, illegal or immoral activities like,

- Murder (Contract killer)

- Robbery

- Kidnapping

- Prostitution

- Frauds
