Example:

4x³ - 2x² + 6x

Step-by-step explanation:

4x³ = 2 times 2 times xxx (it has 3 x's because it says x cubed)

2x² = 2 times xx (it has 2 x's because it says x squared)

6x = 2 times 3 times x

2x is the GCF as that is what they all have in common so

2x (2x² - x + 3)
