5x² - 15 = 5​

5x² = 15 + 5

5x² = 20

x² = 20/5 = 4

x² = 2²

x² - 2² = 0

(x - 2)(x + 2) = 0

⇌ we use the zero product property

x - 2 = 0 or x + 2 = 0

x = 2 or x = -2
