Find the volume of a cone with the radius of 14, and a height of 9. (Hint:

the volume of a cone is 1/3*b*h where the "b" is the area of the base of
the cone or a circle). DO NOT ROUND!!!!! USE 3.14 for PI!!!*

Answer:

The answer is 1846.32 units³.

Explanation:

Given that the base of a cone is a circle so the area of circle is A = πr². You have to substitute the following values into the formula :

v = (1)/(3) * \pi * {r}^(2) * h

Let π = 3.14,

Let r = 14,

Let h = 9,

v = (1)/(3) * 3.14 * {14}^(2) * 9

v = 1846.32 \: {units}^(3)
