Y-intercept:

To find the y-intercept, where the line crosses the y-axis, you need to find the value of y when x is 0.

Slope:

To find the slope of the line, use the equation:

(y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

where (x₁, y₁) is one point on the line and (x₂, y₂) is a different point on the line.

Equation:

y = (y-intercept) + x(slope)
