Dwight D. Eisenhower was a General in the US Military during the time of WW2, and through to Korea, afterwards of course, he became a president.

Eisenhower graduated from the Army Industrial College (Washington, DC) in 1933 and later served on the faculty (it was later expanded to become the Industrial College of the Armed Services and is now known as the Dwight D. He then was posted as chief military aide to General Douglas MacArthur, Army Chief of Staff.
