Answer:

There are 55 sweets in total.

Explanation:

The total number of sweets is t.

Henry, Brian and Colin share some sweets in the ratio 6:4:1.

This means that Henry earns
(6)/(6+4+1) = (6)/(11) of the total(t).

Brian earns
(4)/(11) of the total.

Colin earns
(1)/(11) of the total

Henry gets 25 more sweets than Colin.

Henry earns
(6t)/(11)

Colin earns
(t)/(11)

So

(6t)/(11) = (t)/(11) + 25

Multiplying everything by 1

6t = t + 275

5t = 275

t = (275)/(5)

t = 55

There are 55 sweets in total.
