What stage in the cell cycle does the dna replicate and cell grows?

Interphase is made of G1, S and G2 phases. In G1, cells basically fuel up on necessary nutrient and see if nutrients are available to sustain a dna replication. Then in S phase, DNA replicates. Then in G2, cell checks if there's any error in replication, if none detected some more nutrient checks are performed and then cell proceeds to mitosis.
