What is the acceleration of a toy rocket that accelerates from 10.0 m/s to 30.0
m/s in 15.0 m?

From the question we are given

Final velocity = 30m/s = v

Initial velocity = 10m/s = u

We were not given time but we were given distance = 15m

Therefore we would be using the formula:

Acceleration = v² - u²/ 2s

Where S = distance

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

Acceleration (a) = 30² - 10²/ 2 × 15

a = 900 - 100/ 30

a = 200/30

a = 26.666666667m/s²

a = 26.67m/s²
