This is a example since there is no topic:

Explanatory variable: Could be found on the x axis

Response variable: Could be found on the y axis

Four things need to talk about when you describe a scatter plot:

D. Direction

O. Outliers

F. Form

S. Strength

Example: The relationship between this graph is strong, positive and linear relationship. There does not appear not be outlines.

How to know if its positive: As the x axis increases so does y axis increases too.

How to know if the chart is linear:

Because it describe the scatter plot. DOFS.
