Answer: C. 7x^2+4x-5

Explanation:

Add as you would normally. Exponents can look scary but don’t mind them. First add 5x^2 & 2x^2 to get 7x^2. Then do -5x + 9x. An easier way of doing that would be 9x-5x to get 4x. Lastly do 1 -6 to get 5.
