Viruses do not consist of cells and also lack cell membranes, cytoplasm, ribosomes, and other cell organelles.

What would viruses be capable of doing if they did indeed have these structures in place? Would they then be considered living?

Answer:

Yes they will be considered living

Step-by-step explanation:

Viruses need cells to take over and keep as "hostage". if they have these organelles they won't need hostage cells and would be stronger than ever. with that although some scientists already believe that viruses are living if they are somehow given these organelles there would be no debate. they would indeed be considered as living
