If I have cancer, what type of “biomarkers” and “genetic” or “genomic” tests will I need to have?

Well if you already had cancer you wouldn't use biomarkers because a scan to see if you have it, If you do a genetic test you can make sure that you didn't pass it down to any of your kids, and Genomic testing is different from genetic testing because it looks at all of a person’s genes, rather than focusing on a specific gene, or set of genes. Genomic testing looks broadly for gene alterations, or harmful changes, anywhere in the genetic code.
