The width of a rectangle is 8 cm less than the length of the rectangle.

The perimeter of the rectangle is 54 cm.

Answer:

166.25 cm²

Explanation:

W = L - 8

2W + 2L = 54

2(L - 8) + 2L = 54

2L - 16 + 2L = 54

4L - 16 = 54

4L = 70

L = 17.5, W = 9.5

A = 17.5 x 9.5 = 166.25 cm²
